Automatic Pressure Groups

APPLICATIONS

Hydropneumatic pressure groups for water supply to blocks of flats, sport centres, industries, hotels, etc. whenever the water pressure from the water utility is too poor to provide for the demand, especially at certain times of the day.

DESCRIPTION

  • The standard series of “hasa” automatic pressure groups has one or two pumps, a galvanized tank or membrane, an electric or electronic panel, collector, valves, presostates and other accessories. Also available: groups for bigger flows, pressures or even with variable speed minimizing the tank capacity.
  • Our automatic pressure groups incorporate “hasa” horizontal electropumps with one or more impellers, multicellular verticals, according to the needs. They are compact and small-sized groups with a minimal weight and low noise.
  • According to the storage system required, the groups are provided with either a membrane or a galvanized tank.
  • Control and protection groups consist of presostates (one for each pump), control manometer and an electric or electronic panel built in a double insulated box.
  • We provide all groups totally assembled and electrically checked including common pump bedframe and panel, pump collector branched to presostates and manometer, gate and check valves in each pump and small assembly accessories.

Flow determination for blocks of flats

Pump flow at peak pressure must be close to the figures in the following chart, in l/m, according to the number of supplies.
Number of flats or premises Type A Type B Type C Type D Type E
from 1 to 10 25 35 50 60 75
from 11 to 20 40 60 85 100 125
from 21 to 30 50 75 110 140 180
from 31 to 50 90 150 180 220 280
from 51 to 75 150 220 250 290 320
from 76 to 100 200 270 290 320 ---
from 101 to 150 250 300 320 --- ---

Accumulator determination for blocks of flats

The tank volume in litres must be equal or bigger than the result of multiplying the cofactors by the number of supplies it feeds.

Depósito Galvanizado 40 50 60 70 80
Depósito membrana recambiable 15 18 20 23 26

Operating pressure determination

The group operating pressure (Pt) in the highest supply, in water column metres (m.c.a.), must be the result of adding a differential pressure of 25 m.c.a. and the ceiling height of the highest floor to be fed after taking into account the load loss.

H a (aspiration height): difference between the pump aspiration and the water level

H g (geometric height): height difference between the pump and the highest consumption.

P c (load losses): approximately 15% of the geometrical height

P min (minimal pressure): the most unfavourable minimal pressure. It is considered to be 25 m.c.a. approximately
