CAUSE: developed algae
SOLUTION: brush the walls and the skimmers basket. Adjust pH to 7.0 with pH-Minus or pH-Plus. Carry out a shock treatment with the appropriate product. Wash the filter. |
PROBLEM: Brown water
CAUSE: Organic material
SOLUTION: Brush the walls and the skimmers baskets. Adjust pH to 7.0 with pH-Minus or pH-Plus. Flocculate with Quickflow Super. Carry out a shock treatment with the usual product. Wash the filter. |
PROBLEM: green areas (stairs, corners…)
CAUSE: Local formation of algae
SOLUTION: Adjust pH to 7.0 with pH-minus or pH-Plus. Locally apply Chlorofix x 100. Apply directly. Wash the filter. Do not use on PVC coatings or on liners. |
PROBLEM: Slippery walls and bottom.
CAUSE: Algae formation
SOLUTION: Brush the walls and the skimmers baskets. Adjust pH to 7.0 with pH.Minus or pH.Plus. Flocculate with Quickflow Super. Carry out a shock treatment with the usual product. Wash the filter. |
PROBLEM: Calcareous scales
CAUSE: hard or very hard water
SOLUTION: Adjust pH to 7.0 with pH-Minus. Apply Calcinex to seize lime. Remove scales from the filter with Decalfit Filtre. |
PROBLEM: Sore eyes and nose
CAUSE: Very low pH and/or combined chlorine.
SOLUTION: Adjust pH to 7.0 with pH-Minus or pH-Plus and/or carry out an overchlorination with Chlorofix or Chloriklar (5 times the usual dose). |
PROBLEM: Floating line
CAUSE: Grease on the floating line
SOLUTION: Clean the floating line with Bordnet. If there is a sand filter, put a Superflock cartridge for each 50m3 in the skimmer. |
PROBLEM: Unpleasant chlorine smell
CAUSE: Combined Chlorine
SOLUTION: Adjust pH to 7.0 with pH-Minus or pH-Plus and/or overchlorate with Chlorofix or Chloriklar (5 times the usual dose). |
