Private pool owners have used chlorine-based disinfection products for years. These products exist in granular form, tabs or tablets. Multifunction tablets and complete treatment have appeared in market to treat pool water with disinfectant, algaecide and flocculant quite effectively. Despite these different treatments, many pools have poor water quality which does not satisfy customers. Numerous studies prove that simple water disinfection does not guarantee a perfect quality. In fact, the filter care, which is the real lung of the swimming pool, still remains an important problem. Filters which are not treated show a great amount of bacteria, germs and other pollutants that limit water treatment.

Aware of these problems, Bayrol's Research and Development Department of Bayrol presents a new patented treatment concept: VariTab .

VariTab VariTab is a 2-layer tablet with a double action: it takes care of the filter and it treats water in one step.

Fase 1  : The upper, blue tablet dissolves within about 10 minutes. Part of the chlorine contained in the blue tablet is fast dissolving and is immediately transferred into the pool water through the sand filter. This results in shock chlorination: the chlorine value rises noticeably for a short time, thus eliminating turbidity and killing any bacteria present.

Fase 2  : The lower white tablet dissolves slowly and is effective against bacteria, viruses and fungi for 1 to 2 weeks. So, following the shock chlorination, constant and thorough disinfection is guaranteed for the whole of the time it takes to dissolve. At the same time, a flocculant is continuously added to remove even the finest particles that cause turbidity. This makes the water much clearer.

VariTab is 2-layer tablet with a unique combination: slow and fast chlorine dissolution, double disinfection of the skimmer and filter to offer better hygiene and disinfection.

Packing  :  

The 2-layer tablets come in individual plastic bags. These plastic bags come in cardboard boxes as they are more environmental-friendly than the traditional plastic boxes. There are 1.2kg boxes and 4.5 kg . boxes.

• 300 g tablets (white layer: 100g/ blue layer: 200g)
• osage: First dosage, 2 VariTab tablets per 25-35m3. Continuous treatment: 1 VariTab tablet per 25-35m3 every 10-14 days. Remove the plastic bag and put the tablet in the skimmer.
• Non-oxidizer product.
• Neutral pH.
• Efficient flocculant action.
